To mark the opening of their brand new children’s toy and book boutique, the apple seeds flagship in Chelsea will be offering families free haircuts, shopping discounts and an all-day family extravaganza tomorrow, Saturday, September 22 from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

While the adults shop, kids will have fun with face painting, balloon animals, kids manicures and story time book readings every hour. Jan Helson, the author of the  children’s book The Global Game Changers, will also host a special reading at the event.

Shopping discounts will be up to 30% off on brands such as Plan Toys, Playmobil, Lego, Kid O, Manhattan Toy, Melissa & Doug, and Klutz.

Call the apple seeds salon (212.792.7590 x216) in advance to schedule a free haircut appointment, walk-ins are also welcome.
