Great Time for All at The Amazing Max {+Tix Discount Code!}

My girls are at an age where they love magic. They love performing it, they love watching it, they love figuring out how the heck it all works. In fact, for O’s 8th birthday party last year, she insisted on having a magician perform at her party. Their favorite trick to perform at the dinner table is the “Pencil Disappearing into their Ear” and the “Dismembered Thumb Trick”. Our family dinners are so much fun!

When we had the opportunity to go to see The Amazing Max and the Box of Interesting Things, I knew that they would have a blast! During the show, I kept on looking at them and they were so intensely focused on what was happening on the stage and at the same time could not stop smiling and laughing.

The Amazing Max is an incredibly fun show for both kids and parents – even The Hubby was fully entertained and laughing out loud. For every trick Max does, he picks out a kid from the audience. Max is pretty democratic and picks kids from all around the threatre and not just the front row. He picks one kid per magic trick, so he picks out perhaps 8-10 kids from various age ranges, which is pretty cool. Our girls weren’t picked, but they had so much fun laughing that they didn’t mind.

We totally give The Amazing Max four thumbs up and highly recommend the show for families with kids – it was fun, entertaining, had high energy and was a great way for the whole family to have a ton of laughs.
