To celebrate its 10th anniversary, the Hershey’s® Chocolate World® store in Times Square underwent a sweet facelift. I was invited to check out the new interactive experiences that every family member will enjoy. And, who wouldn’t? It’s HERSHEY’S® CHOCOLATE!
When you first enter the store, you are greeted to the new “Taste Hershey’s Happiness™ station where different Hershey’s samples, including new products, will be available for a taste test. When I went, we got to taste test the new Rolos® Minis and Herhsey’s® Kisses® Milk Chocolates filled with caramel. Every week you’ll have the chance to taste different, yet complementing products and decide which you like better.
Moving further along towards the back is the “Wrap Hershey’s Happiness” experience which is where you can put your own personal touch on your very own 7 oz. Hershey’s chocolate bar.
You can make your own customized chocolate bar by adding your own personal picture and message. If you choose this option – you’ll have your design featured on the store’s billboard marquee outside in the heart of Times Square!
From top to bottom: A personalized bar with a picture of the girls in a pool and a personalized message of “Chocolate Mermaids”, a Mother’s Day Chocolate Bar, and a World’s Greatest Dad Chocolate Bar.
Last but not least, The Hershey Company has committed itself to give back through its “Share Hershey’s Happiness” program. Everyone who makes a purchase will receive a wooden token which they can use to vote for the following charities with varying degrees of reach:

The United Way

The World Cocoa Foundation
The Hershey Company will donate funds to each organization based on the percentage of votes that each receives.
