We’ve done a whole lot of interior design re-do’s for our apartment. We started with our girls’ room, because you know the kids always come first … … and then last year we redesigned our living room, dining area and the home office which we turned into a sitting room / media room.
The only room we needed to deal with was our master bedroom which literally was a sore thumb in the middle of our beautiful apartment. Enter Frederique van der wal (yes the supermodel, now florist entrepeneur) and Carter Oosterhouse, designer extraordinaire who star in their new show on the FYI Network, “HomeGrown Makeover with Frederique and Carter”. Here’s a little bit on the show itself:
“HomeGrown Makeover with Frederique and Carter” takes people in greenery-deprived living spaces and provides flower and plant solutions to remedy various home issues by crafting creative, custom flower and plant designs and builds.”
Luckily for us, the reached out to me and asked if we had a room that we needed to have redesigned.
And oh boy, did we.

And our mis-matched sheets? And, oh yeah, those blinds? The one on the left hasn’t been able to go up for about 7 years and the one on the right had been crooked for about a year…Don’t judge. Again.
At least our cat, Tucker, liked it.
