The Dyson Hot and Cool looks tiny but it definitely is powerful and as a mom with young kids, it has family-friendly features that I appreciate.

What’s so Great about the Dyson Hot and Cool:
We used the Dyson Hot and Cool in our living room and dining room, which is about 800 square feet (we live in NYC, folks!) and although the Dyson Hot and Cool is super compact, it heated up the room in about s. It actually got so warm that I had to turn it down. Talk about efficiency!
We also like the fact that the Dyson Hot and Cool lets you only need one machine for all seasons. No need for a fan in the summer or a space heater (that can be super dangerous).
Safety Features: Low surface temperatures means it doesn’t get hot (great for families with young kids) and if it’s tipped over, the machine is made so that it automatically shuts off.
No Blades: With young kids in the apartment, I worry that little hands and fingers would get hurt with fan blades. The Dyson Hot and Cool uses the AM05 Air Multiplier™ technology for bladeless heating and cooling.
It Oscillates! You can get it to oscillate (or not) with a quick touch of the button so that you can get air into all parts of the room.
Remote Control: No more getting up and down to change the fan speed or temperature. The Dyson Hot and Cool comes with a small remote control that already comes with batteries, so you can manage your room’s temperature at the comfort of your couch.
Design: I personally love the modern and clean design. It doesn’t look like a fan at all and can completely work within any design aesthetic.
Easy to Clean: All you have to do is wipe it clean with a dry cloth. There’s absolutely no taking apart of a fan and cleaning individual blades.
White Noise: It has a low hum which can act like a sound machine in your kids or baby’s bedroom.
Weight: It weighs 5.6 lbs, so it’s easy to move from room to room.
Warranty: Like other Dyson products, it comes with a two-year parts and labor warranty.
