I know that the fashion industry is in full-on Spring mode, but the reality is that it’s been under 26 degrees in New York City for the past week. And we are all over it. Right? Aren’t you? There’s only so much you can do to look cute and chic while temperatures are plummeting.
When I’m dropping the girls off at school, and going to work, or going out for a GNO, you want to look cute and chic, but you just HAVE to stay warm. How do you do it? Lucky for me, I work with the ladies from LABEL+thread and my winters have been warm thanks to their cashmere and super-fine merino wools sweaters, jackets, cardis and scarves.
Since we’ve been living in the Arctic circle, my go-to scarf has been their Double Loop Cashmere Infinity Scarf (above) which is a puff-cloud of yummy soft cashmere.
My other favorite is the cable infinity scarf (Pssst! It’s on sale!), which I wore today to change it up a bit.
Other things I’ve been wearing: We’re lucky that it’s been sunny so I’ve been sporting my new Ray-Ban Wayferers which I bought at 50% off at the newly remodeled Century 21 in Downtown NYC as well as my pink fur trapper hat which I also bought at Century 21 above five years ago and keeps me toasty warm. It’s so pink that people can spot me from blocks away. And that’s the truth.
