Admit it. You love the Fresh Beat Band. You do. You hum their songs. You sing their songs. You even know the words to their songs. I do.

So when J&R Jr. hosted the Fresh Beat Band in their store  for the band’s new release of their album “More Music from the Hit TV Show Vol 2.0″, I got on that line.  The album features 20 kid-friendly songs including the band’s most popular songs (our girl’s favorites: Great Day, in an acoustic version and Silly Bananas). What’s also great on this album is that there are covers of pop favorites including “Let’s Get Loud”, “Twist and Shout” and my favorite, “We Got the Beat” by The Go-Go’s. Ironically, I saw the Go-Go’s a few days later in NYC!

Miss S and I were able to meet the band, but I think she was in SHOCK when she saw them “in real person”. They were so nice and gentle with S because she was just too shy to go up to them. She was still very excited to take a photo with Kiki and Twist, but I had to be in it, too. You know I loved it just as much as she did.
