Last week was Joy Gryson’s one year anniversary of her TriBeCa Franklin Street shop, and to celebrate she had a little soiree inviting friends, neighbors and fans. Of course I went, along with a bunch of downtown parents supporting the downtown mom and designer.

I am a big fan of her bags. I’ve written about her Duane Street Messenger and her Thomas Street Tote in the past  so, of course for fall, I had updated my accessory close with a new bag from her latest IIIBeCa Collection. The bag I chose? The IIIBeCa Shopper.

Things that I absolutely adore about my new IIIBeCa leather Shopper:

It can be used as a tote or a messenger bag. Function and fashion at the same time. First time I wore it, I carried my 13″ MacBook Pro (with its cover, which fit perfectly) and wore it as a messenger. Today when I was shopping around, I carried it around as a tote.

The two outside pockets are the perfect place to put my iPhone in so I don’t lose it.  My phone is at the tip of my fingers, I can quickly see if it’s in the Shopper, and yet it’s completely covered.

Inside, there are three removable pouches — that you can use for things like a wallet or make-up bag. Simply just snap them out and  you can pop them into another bag.

Now that I have three of Joy Gryson’s bags, I’m going to have to try to put them into equal rotation because I love wearing all three.

This week, I’m linking up with:
