Last week, I was one of two bloggers to Live Tweet from The Katie Couric Show. The other blogger? Friend and fellow blogger, Lisa from MomALaMode.net. We got to the studios on 66th street, met with the team and sat in the front row. At the end, we got to meet Katie for a bit and took a picture of her. Katie is such a normal person who talked to the audience during breaks and even told us what she was wearing (Elie Tahari dress and Ivanka Trump Shoes) and at the end of the taping had a question and answer and talked to us about how she stays in shape and how her girls are doing. Quite the extraordinary person she is, yet you feel like you can have a cup of coffee with her.
On that day’s show, Katie talked to Bill O’Reilly about his new book, Killing Kennedy, a behind-the-scenes look at what actually happened on the day President Kennedy was assassinated, and the months leading up to it. As well as stories about President Kennedy that had never been discussed before. The taping took place the day after the second Presidential debate so Katie and Bill discussed what happened during the debate and who Bill thought won.
The second part of the show was about Redbook Magazine’s Hot Husband’s Contest. Six lucky women and their hot hubby’s met with Katie and Redbook magazine’s editor-in-chief, Jill Herzig. These lucky ladies described what made their husbands hot: from writing poetry to being an amazing father. Lucky indeed.
Also as part of Katie’s Crew, I wrote on Katie Couric’s blog Why My Husband is the HOTTEST. It was actually one of the easiest blog posts that I have written to date and my ode to truly the hottest guy in the world — my husband. Below are more pictures from the exciting day!
