Summer Style: What to Wear at Disney World 1

We recently went to Disney World and with all the planning that went on with planning our trip, it was a wonder that I was able to coordinate my outfits for our vacation. I wanted to look pulled together but still be comfortable and casual. Here’s my tips on what to wear at Disney World while looking fashionable and comfortable.

Find a pair of comfortable shoes. The first thing on my list of things to buy was a pair of comfortable but stylish shoes. I went to Aerosoles, which is a block away from our apartment, and found these fabulous sandals called “Chamblake”. They come in five colors with stud embellishments. I chose the tan neutral color so that I knew it would go with everything I bought. It is super-padded and comfortable and I wore it all three days we were in Disney World.

Bring items that work well together and mix and match. A lot of what I wear is pretty neutral and mix and match. I paired it with Pima Cotton tees and crochet neck top from LABEL+thread.

Bring a comfortable pair of pants. My favorite pair of pants that I have been wearing non-stop this spring is Sancturary’s Camo Chino from Anthropologie. It is perfect casual with flats or dressed up for date night with a pair of “shooties”.  (You know those hybrid shoes + booties? I have a great pair from Faryl Robin.)

Wear shorts, but make sure they are the right length and aren’t shlumpy. I went to Old Navy and bought the boyfriend cuffed denim short in both a light and dark wash. They were comfortable, not tight and were the right length.

Make sure you have a stylish swim cover-up. Keeping it real in this picture because it’s not the most flattering, but I scored at Old Navy with this striped gauze tunic in fresh navy and white which I wore over my mommy-friendly bathing suits (new post on that soon!)

Bring one goes-with-everything bag. The accessory I wore the most, besides my chic grey MagicBands? My Joy Gryson IIIbeca Duane Street Messenger Bag. Went with everything and fit everything I needed for our fun trip to Disney World.
