When my girls come off the camp bus at 5 p.m., they are so hungry, but because it is so close to dinner time, I tend to put out healthy kid’s snacks like carrots and humus, grapes, and cherries. Another snack favorite is the very easily made Apple and Peanut Butter “Cookies”:
1) Thinly sliced whole apples
2) Peanut butter frosting (or you can use any nut spread)
3) If it’s not too close to dinner and at snack time, we let our girls put on some sprinkles for a cookie effect. And that’s it!
