It may be hazy, hot and humid in your neck of the woods, or you may be getting your kids ready for back-to-school, but The Children’s Place has the holidays in mind and it is wrapped up in glitter, animal prints, plaid and fleece.
Nicole Feliciano of Momtrends and Michael Gianelli, head of design at The Children’s Place, highlighted the new Holiday 2012 line earlier this month to a bunch of online influencers and bloggers to kick off BlogHer 2012 in New York City. It was a packed house at the swanky Bryant Park hotel, but I was able to get a bunch of shots from the preview.
For girls, there was plenty of sparkle and shine with glittery sweaters and party dresses. I loved this festive glittery bow sweater that can be dressed up or dressed down matched with an animal print skirt so that it’s not too sweet.
Boys will be boys at The Children’s Place in tartan plaids and buffalo checks as well as graphic fleece and rugged denim.
My favorites were the accessories, which are fabulous for gift-giving, because you know that they will just love it. These critter hats are perfect for any kid – and at $12.95, you can give more than one.
For stocking stuffers, they’ve got necklaces, bracelets and headbands in every jeweled color.
For those of you who don’t know, The Children’s Place has AMAZING prices. Their tagline is “Big Fashion Little Prices”, which is perfectly correct. For someone like me, who has gone from a full-time executive job to a marketing consultant, brands like The Children’s Place help keep my girls in tip-top fashion shape, while staying on a budget. The highest price in the line is $69.95 for a 3-in-1 outerwear jacket; but the majority of the collection is under $19.95.
The Children’s Place Holiday 2012 collection will be online and in-stores starting September 15th, so we’ve got only a month left!
