Sometimes it pays having been part of the fashion industry for 15 years. This is one of those times. My old co-worker and supervisor invited me to the Rebecca Taylor Fall/Winter 2013 show at Highline Studios in New York City’s Meatpacking District.
The show was feminine with an edge, beautifully understated, and the best part? Wearable. There was a moto-edge with leather, exposed zippers, and studs; but all balanced with subtle feminine touches like peplums, lace, pleats and fabrics that move with the body.
